2011 International Country Music Week Closing Ceremony

On September 16, the seven-day 2011 Zhangjiajie International Country Music Week drew to a successful end with the folk song “I sing in the mountains” echoing in Hallelujah Concert Hall at Huanglong (Yellow Dragon) Cave tourist area.

43 famous bands from 28 countries were awarded Best Vocal Performance, Best Performance, Best Performer, Best Stage Appeal, Best Creativity and Special Award at the closing ceremony. Mark Levine Band from Los Angeles, the birthplace of international country music, won the Special Contribution Award for the second successive year.

It is estimated that 250,000 tourists visited Zhangjiajie to experience the natural heritage, Huxiang culture, and folk songs during this week, up by 20% compared with the same period last year.
