2013 Zhangjiajie International Country Music Week Will be run on August 31

According to the Red net, the 2013 Zhangjiajie International Country Music will go to the public at ecological square of Yellow Dragon Cave, Wulingyuan on August 31. On July 4, reporters heard from the official website of the activity that the organizing committee has basically confirmed 27 international country music teams from 27 counties all over the world competing on the stage. Some of the popular music personage are among the list, such as Prathibha Prahlad, a versatile Indian dancer who was rated being very innovative and crossing era, Yet. Malone, an International piano master as well as The German International Orchestra“Sound Factory”.

Sponsored by Hunan Cultural Department, Hunan Tourism Department and Zhangjiajie Municipal People’s Government and Yellow Dragon Cave Equity Investment Limited Company, the music festival will be hosted by Ministry of Culture and Hunan Municipal People’s Government. The activity will aim at display and communicate diverse national country music, inherit and uphold country music arts, which will not only enhance the popularity and reputation of Zhangjiajie, but also promote the global ethnic culture and arts.

It is known that the music week will last 5 days, when all the teams will put on tour performances at ecological square of Yellow Dragon Cave, Baofeng Lake, Rivers around 4 Gates, Laomo Bay, Tianzishan, Tianmenshan and Xibu Street. Two thematic campfire fires will be held on August 31 and September 2 respectively. On September 4, the closing ceremony will be on at the canyon grand theatre of Tianmenshan.

Zhangjiajie International Country Music Week started in 2009 in biennial term. Up to now, it has been smoothly hosted for two times. Its success enhanced the cultural connotation of Zhangjiajie World Natural Heritage, increase the cultural competitive power and propagate splendid Hunan as well as prospering Chinese image, becoming a milestone of the integrative development in Chinese travel and cultural industry. Yewenzhi, the chief planner of the music festival, deputy to the National People’s Congress as well as the manager of Yellow Dragon Cave Equity Investment Limited Company said that he was working hard at turning Zhangjiajie International Country Music Week to a permanent international festival that people around the world yearn for it.
