2015 Zhangjiajie Cross-strait Bicycle Race Launched in Wulingyuan

The First “Giant Salamanders Cup” Zhangjiajie Cross-strait Bicycle Race in 2015, a competition comparable to Tour of France in China, was launched at Wulingyuan Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie on March 28. Over 200 cyclists from Taiwan and mainland’s top professional cycling teams participated in the competition.

The competition, serving as a cross-strait feast for travel exchange, aimed at promoting travel, environmental protection, green ecology, friendship and sports spirit. It played a significant role in promoting Zhangjiajie’s resources in outdoor leisure travel, accelerating travel transformation and upgrading, and developing new type travel products.
