A Warm Tip from Zhangjiajie Park–Not Touch or Provoke Wild Monkeys

On June 22, Mr. Li, A guest from Shanghai, went through an embarrassing occasion when he came closer to a wild monkey that was looking around on a low branch beside a pathway, the monkey leap out at him, leaving him shocked and terrified.

Since the arrival of summer, Wild monkeys in Wulingyuan is unusually active, thus staff reminded guests as follows. First, never provoke or drive away monkeys with branches and stones. Second, try your best to stay a suitable space to monkeys when taking pictures. Third, never feed food to monkeys. Fourth, put away your food when entering into scenic spots with many monkeys.
