The plane A320, newly introduced by China Southern Airlines (CSN), started its journey from France on February 20, passed through Tianjin and arrived at Changsha Huanghua International Airport at 10 o’clock on the morning of February 21. This is the fifth airbus introduced in succession since the strategic cooperation agreement was signed between the CSN and the Hunan Provincial People’s Government in 2012. Up till now the number of airplanes under CSN’s management has reached 21.
The brand-new Airbus A320, with 151 seats including eight seats for first class, 23 for high-end economy class and 120 for economy class, will play a significant role in relieving traffic pressure in peak tourist season. It will also further expand Hunan’s aviation channel to the outside world by providing passenger transfer service in Guangzhou, Beijing and Urumchi to Europe, America, Australia, Southeast Asia and Central Asia.
The CSN is scheduled to introduce the 22nd airbus in the second half of this year. The flight from Changsha to Germany’s Frankfurt is Changsha’s longest international flight, which is expected to be launched this year.
