It was revealed from the China Southern Airlines Company Limited Hunan Branch on October 8, 2013 that it launched a new flight from Changsha to Vietnam’s Danang. The maiden flight successfully departed from Changsha Huanghua International Airport on September 29. During the National Day holiday, the flight departed from Changsha on October 2 and returned on October 6.

With the province’s economic boom, Hunan maintains increasing trade ties with Vietnam, and enjoys vigorous development in international travel industry. Danang, the second largest port city in Vietnam, is well-known for its beautiful scenery and its picturesque sea and sky.
According to an employee from Hunan Branch, the Changsha-Danang flight opens a new waypoint from Hunan to Southeast Asia, which accords with the outbound travel demand of Hunan people, promoting the economic and cultural exchanges and communications between Changsha and Danang.
