In order to accelerate the integrated development of cultural travel industry in Western Hunan, at the invitation of Hunan Province, delegation from the China Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs Association (COCEA) conducted a special survey concerning cultural travel industry in Western Hunan from October 31 to November 5.
The delegation, consisting of 67 overseas Chinese, was headed by Ren Qiliang, deputy director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council (OCAOSC) and executive vice president of COCEA. During their stay in Hunan, the team conducted field inspections in such places as Yongding District and Wulingyuan District of Zhangjiajie, Jishou City and Fenghuang County of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hecheng District of Huaihua City and Zhijiang Dong Autonomous County, and attended promotion conferences of cultural travel of Zhangjiajie City, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture and Huaihua City. At the conference, the above-mentioned three cities and prefecture highlighted 21 cultural travel projects under their administration, and issued 129 key projects, among which 66 were travel projects.
It was learned that some overseas Chinese have agreed to investment in the region. Next, they will conduct in-depth investigation and negotiations in a targeted manner.
