Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Sites spending 700 thousand on Macaque Garden
The lucky macaques in Zhangjiajie Suoxiyu Scenic Sites, this World Natural Heritage site, now are enjoying their own home. On Mar.7th, the first group of nearly 30 macaques started to have fun at the Macaque Garden which exactly is their newly-built home at the end of the Ten-li Gallery.
Currently, 200-300 macaques playing on the “Monkey Slope” represents new scenery of the Ten-li Gallery. Zhu Chaowen, the director of the tramway in this region, said that the Macaque Garden have added a new line of sightseeing, meanwhile promoted partly the multiplying of wild macaques as well as ecological environment.
