German-based Kempinski Hotel has inked an agreement with Hunan Shuntian Group to settle in Shuntian International Financial Center, which marks a progress of Hunan province on introducing world-renowned hotel brands. Since 2009, 18 top international luxury hotels have been successively introduced in Hunan, of which 13 hotels are now under construction, such as St. Regis Hotel, W Hotel, and Sheraton Hotel of U.S. Starwood Group, JW Marriott Hotel, Marriott Hotel, and Renaissance Hotel of U.S. Marriott International Group, Hilton, Howard Johnson, Hyatt Regency, Intercontinental, Kempinski and Shangri-La.
Additionally, 5 hotels including Sofitel, Berman, and H.K. World Trade International are contracted to be built.
Many other projects have signed agreements of intent or conducted negotiations.
