June 13, 2015 is China's tenth Cultural Heritage Day. On the morning of June 8, the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and the Cultural Heritage Bureau of Hunan announced the schedule of celebrations in Hunan. Hunan, a province rich in cultural heritage resources, is to hold five cultural activities and realize the theme of the event--cultural heritage protection achievements shared by all people.
The five activities are the Experience Exchange Meeting of Hunan's Cultural Heritage Protection Achievements Shared by All People, Colorful Hunan--2015 Cultural Heritage Day & Hunan Intangible Cultural Heritage Activities (slated for June 13 and 15 at China (Shaoshan) Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo Park), Intangible Cultural Heritage into Thousands of Households, One Hundred Micro Exhibitions into Schools, Communities and Enterprises, and Paintings Portraying Ancient Villages--2015 College Painting Competition on Hunan Traditional Villages.
