Hunan Writers Association Holds 7th Meeting in Changsha

The seventh meeting of Hunan Writers Association (HWA) unveiled its curtain in Changsha on the morning of June 20. Writer representatives and literary workers across the province attended the meeting and discussed strategies of boosting Hunan’ s literary. Zhou Qiang, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, and Li Bing, party secretary of the Chinese Writers Association (CWA) delivered speeches at the meeting.
  
Secretary Zhou conveyed his greetings and respect to literary workers across the province. He said that Hunan literary circle, writers and literary workers have made great contributions in guiding the society, educating people and promoting the development through earnestly implementing the CPC Central Committee’s policies on literature and arts, and actively taking part in the project of building Hunan into a powerful cultural province since the opening of the sixth meeting of HWA six years ago. Li Bing, on behalf of CWA, congratulated on the successful opening of the meeting.
  
The working report on the sixth council of HWA and an explanation of revising The Regulations of Hunan Writers Association were made after the opening ceremony.
