Hunan’s 4A Scenic Spots at the Sate-level Increase to 49

Seven scenic spots in Hunan have been included on the list of 87 newly-approved 4A National Scenic Spots, as released by the National Scenic Spots Grade Evaluation Committee in recent days. Hunan’s 4A scenic spots at the sate-level amount to 49 with the addition of these seven.

The newly-added seven are the Hu Yaobang Former Residence in Liuyang, the Jingang Ancient Town in Changsha, the Qingshui Lake Scenic Area in Changde, the Zhangjiajie Great Valley, the Longnv Scenic Area in Chenzhou, the Shennong Valley at Emperor Yan’s Mausoleum in Zhuzhou and the Qianzhou Ancient Town in Jishou.

In addition, the Luoxi Forest Park in Dongkou County has been upgraded to a national forest park at the National Forest Park Appraisal Conference.
