Granted as the “Copy of Xishuangbanla”and “Nouthern Natural Forest Park”, Mangshan in five ridges of the southern part of Yizhang County is a picturesque green treasury where trees and mountains rising one after another. Mild climate, sufficient rains and privileged natural condition have bestowed this mountain with a variety of forest vegetation, which forms a unique and interesting pattern made up of plants from both tropical zone, subtropical zones and temperate zone, some of which even from frigid zone. As is initially estimated, there are at least 1500 flowering plant species and 700 kinds of woody plant. Mangshan is home to some ancient and rare plants including Tsuga longibracteata. What a forest museum it is! And it is also famous for the finding of boa constrictor. A gorgeous place that I wish to have a chance to go!
