On April 17, 2011, the First Cross-Strait Network Business Innovation Competition & the Hunan Trial of the Fourth National Network Business Innovation Competition for College Students was launched at Xiangtan University.
Business problems faced by traditional enterprises or Internet enterprises across the Taiwan Strait are the focus of this competition. Such contests encourage college students to put forward their solution via Internet. The panel of experts will evaluate and decide winners according to the proposals and implementation.
The event is expected to attract more than 100,000 college students from over 2,000 institutions of higher learning from the mainland China and 30 odd universities from Taiwan to enter for the competition and millions of students to participate in all kinds of activities.
The contestants are encouraged to choose topics conducive to exhibition and promotion of cultures across the Straits.
