At 10 p.m., May 17th, 2012, Xibu Street witnessed a new Guinness World Record of hugs within 2 hours set by Zhang Qin, an 18-year-old girl of Miao Minority. According to Zhangjiajie Notary Office, in 2 hours, she hugged 2114 people with an average pace of one hug every 3.4 seconds. On that night, throngs of people flock to Xibu Street, young and old, white and yellow–seemed everyone were having a lot of fun gathering together.
