It is reported that Ningbo, one of the main traveler generating regions in eastern China, will have 50 tourist charted flights making non-stop to Zhangjiajie.
According to the report, there are two non-stop flights from Ningbo to Zhangjiajie every week. On April 27th, the maiden flight is made and over thousands of tourists will be expected to bring to Zhangjiajie. An related official says, there had no non-stop flights from Ningbo to Zhangjiajie before 2009, but after the collaboration of the two parties, it was achieved and facilitates tourists from Ningbo, Taizhou and Zhoushan to visit Zhangjiajie.
In order to stabilize and strengthen tourist source in eastern China, many travel sectors in Zhangjiajie have conducted contacts and cooperations in Ningbo, Taizhou, Zhoushan and Hangzhou, which secures the continuousness of nono-stop flights from Ningbo to Zhangjiajie since 2009 and which brings in over 40,000tourists to Zhangjiajie.
In recent years, Zhangjiajie’s popularity and good reputation have increased considerably in Ningbo. Every year, over 60,000 tourists come to Zhangjiajie for visit through different means.
