The light festival themed “Dreaming in Peach Flower Fairyland” kicked off at Taohuayuan Scenic Area, Changde City on the evening of August 3, 2018. Tens of thousands of tourists gathered here to experience the wonderful light feast.
From the south gate of the Taohuayuan Scenic Area, along the east bank of the Wuliu Lake to the north gate of the scenic spot, and then to the Taoyuan Art Museum, 31 sets of lights were shown in the 2-km-long route, presenting an amazing scene to the visitors. The design of the lanterns not only contains the poetry and literary elements, but also incorporates folk customs such as the 24 solar terms, Changde rice noodles, and grinding tea. In addition, technology has also added a unique flavor to the lighting effect.
Tu Bibo, Changde deputy mayor said that the light show in the form of travel plus art will last from August 3 to the end of October., visitors can enjoy the beauty of the peach blossoms during the day and the lantern shows at night.
