A Boeing 737-900 of Thai Lion Air arrived in Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport at 7:20 am on April 16, 2016, marking its maiden flight between Bangkok of Thailand and Zhangjiajie of Hunan Province. It took off from Dong Mueang International Airport in Bangkok, with nearly a hundred of passengers.
The flight will be operated every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, taking about three hours for one-way trip.
