On May 24th, the first Ecological Tourism Commodities Exhibition of Hengshan county is grandly held in Hengshan People’s Square.
This exhibition is aimed to promote travel commodities innovation and boost Hengshan’s economy with theme of “gathering commodities, create business opportunities, enhance travel, recommend Hengshan’s traditional arts and crafts products, like shadow puppet samples and bamboo carvings, and Shengshan’s famous native products, such as tea and tea oil, noted agricultural and sideline products, such as Jioulongli(a kind of melon) and Hengjia watermelon, to name but a few. There are 213 commodities types and 568 commodities selected from 48 exhibition units and individuals. Over 40,000 citizens in Hengshan will come and buy their favorite travel commodities.
It is reported that this exhibition is one of the major activities of Hengshan’s first (2013) rural ecological travel festival, as well as a crucial measure to enter into Large Hengshan travel economic circle and build into a county with flourishing travel.
