What to Expect at 2013 Zhangjiajie International Country Music Week

Organizers released the preparations, schedules and events for the 2013 Zhangjiajie International Country Music Week at a press briefing on August 15 in Beijing.

The music week, to take place from August 31 to September 4 in China’s world heritage site Zhangjiajie, is themed “World’s natural heritage, our country music”. Following the principle of frugality, grandness and profound effects, the festival is expected to be a far-reaching international event. 
The organizers will line up more than 300 musicians and are promising a mix of 8 domestic music groups and 25 country music bands from 23 countries and regions. 

Six events running throughout the week consist of the opening ceremony, the international country music tour, gala night, Harley riders and music in Zhangjiajie, “Cultural Dream of Zhangjiajie” forum session, as well as the award and closing ceremony.
