Wintersweets Blossom against Snow in Zhangjiajie Park

Following the Spring Festival, thousands of wintersweets (called ‘la mei’ in Chinese) burst into full bloom against heavy snow in Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic spot–a world famous natural scenery heritage site in central China’s Hunan Province, on February 9th, 2014. The pink, yellow and red plum flowers scattered among the snowy trees and rimes form a spectacular fairytale-like scene, drawing many visitors from both home and abroad.

The cold weather leaves trees and plants covered in rimes in Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic spot–a world famous natural scenery heritage site in central China’s Hunan Province, on February 9th, 2014. Visitors take photos and enjoy the beautiful snowy scenery in this white landscape.
