The four-day “Capturing Zhangjiajie, One Thousand Photographers’ Expedition Tour in the New Year” was concluded in the Wulingyuan Scenic Area of Zhangjiajie on January 11, 2014. Nearly 1,200 professional photographers participated in the event, and took more than 500,000 photos that showcased natural scenery, folk customs, and portraits of Zhangjiajie.
“The event is not only a pleasant journey but also an unusual photo tour,” said Mr. Ma, a photographer from Ningxia Province. “The event is very good. We gained more knowledge while enjoying the scenery,” said Ms. Lee and her husband from Shanghai. The couple decided to stay for a few more days in Zhangjiajie to enjoy and capture the charming snow-covered landscape. This was the 58th time for He Huan, an 83-year-old famous Hong Kong photographer to take photos in Zhangjiajie. This time, he came to the city ten days in advance, and held a personal Zhangjiajie photo exhibition.
Mr. Zhao Xuxin, president of the International Photography Association, pledged that the association will carry out in-depth cooperation with the Wulingyuan Scenic Area and develop the event into a bright view of Zhangjiajie.
