This year means the 20th anniversary after Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan was added to World Heritage List. During past 20 years, Zhangjiajie consistently followed world cultural and natural heritage conventions. At the same time, as world heritage, the travel industry of Zhangjiajie was also accelerated largely.
As reported, in 2012, Zhangjiajie has already received about 17 million visitors, and gained revenue of 7 billion yuan totally. Compared with 1992, the above two items witnessed an increase of 15 times and 129 times respectively.
Now, Zhangjiajie acts as one of the attractive destination to home and abroad tourists.
