At its travel product promotion conference in Kuala Lumpur on December 14, Zhangjiajie publicized and introduced its magical landform scenery of the Zhangjiajie World Geopark, which is included in the first batch of World Natural Heritage.
“Zhangjiajie’s steep mountains and valleys resemble vivid picture scroll, and Zhangjiajie boasts the world’s well known natural heritage resources. Zhangjiajie will vigorously develop series of travel products such as Zhangjiajie’s landform sightseeing travel, sport climbing fitness travel, and mountain and river landscape photographing travel, to advocate concepts of ecological travel, healthy travel, environment friendly travel, and low-carbon travel”, said Mr. Hou, deputy director of the Administrative Office of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
According to Mr. Hou, Zhangjiajie is now holding the third International Internet Photo Contest and welcomes Malaysian amateur photographers to participate in the contest. He also expressed Zhangjiajie’s willingness to cooperate with Malaysian travel field, and to boom the market of tourist source through joint efforts of the two sides.
